I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
